Lamp Assembly & Usage Guidelines

We are delighted that you have chosen to purchase your new lighting from Istanbul Bazaar Limited and the following information is provided in order to ensure the safe installation and usage of your chosen product from us.

All of our products are tested against BS EN-60598-1 Luminaire Standard and all components are CE certified.

Take care when handling the mosaic glass globes as there may be sharp edges as a result of the handmade process.

Swan Neck Table Lamp

Ensure the lamp is not connected to the mains electricity supply.

For Size-1, Size-2 and Size-3:

Insert one E14 led bulb, maximum of 25W into the bulb holder and carefully squeeze the two pins together and slide the globe over the pins, largest opening to the top of the lamp and release the pins taking care not to pinch your fingers.  Insert cone in to the bottom opening by squeezing the two pins and carefully release in place.

For Size-5:

Hold the globe in place smaller opening to top, insert the metal ring (gently squeeze metal ring if necessary) and fix the globe with the plastic ring provided.  Insert cone into the large opening of the globe. Insert E27 (max 40W).

 

Your lamp can now be plugged in to the mains supply and turned on using the cable switch.

To change the bulb turn the lamp off at the power supply and carefully remove the entire globe from the assembly, remove and replace the bulb and then reassemble as above.

Plain Globe Lamp

Ensure the lamp is not connected to the mains electricity supply.

 

For Size-3:

Insert one E14 led bulb, maximum of 25W into the bulb holder. Carefully squeeze the two pins together and slide the globe over the pins, largest opening to the bottom of the lamp and release the pins taking care not to pinch your fingers. Take your top cone and squeezing the two pins carefully insert them into the smaller end of the globe.

For Size-5 and Size-6:

Hold the globe in place large opening to top, insert the metal ring (gently squeeze metal ring if necessary) and fix the globe with the plastic ring provided. Insert E27 (max 40W) then insert cone into the large opening of the globe.

 

Your lamp can now be plugged in to the mains supply and turned on using the cable switch.

To change the bulb turn the lamp off at the power supply and carefully remove the entire globe from the assembly, remove and replace the bulb and then reassemble as above

Chandelier & Pendant Lights

Install a suitable fixing from which to hang your chosen light fitting.

Ensure your power source is off and connect your light to an electric source, however do not turn your light on yet (terminal connectors & hooks are not provided).

For Size-2:

Carefully squeeze the two pins together and slide the globe over the pins, largest opening to the top of the lamp and release the pins taking care not to pinch your fingers

Insert your E14 (max 25 watt)

Take your bottom cone and squeezing the two pins carefully insert them into the smaller end of the globe.

For Size-5 and Size-6 Pendants:

Secure assembly to the ceiling, hold the globe in place smaller opening to top, insert the metal ring (gently squeeze metal ring if necessary) and fix the globe with the plastic ring provided.

Insert E27 (max 40W).  Take your bottom cone and squeezing the two pins carefully insert them into the larger end of the globe.

For Teardrop Pendants: Secure the assembly to the ceiling and carefully squeeze the two mins together and slide the globe over the pins and tighten the screws on the outside of the top of the globe to secure in place.

Raise the metal ring and tighten the screw provided to secure the ceiling rose in place.

Your light can now be switched on.

Floor Standing Lamps

Connect the main body of the lamp to the base and place on a flat surface.

Ensure the lamp is not connected to the mains electricity supply.

Insert one E14 led bulb, maximum of 25W into each of the bulb holders.

Carefully squeeze the two pins together and slide the globe over the pins, largest opening to the top of the lamp and release the pins taking care not to pinch your fingers.

Take your bottom cone and squeezing the two pins carefully insert them into the smaller end of the globe.

Your lamp can now be plugged in to the mains supply and turned on using the cable switch.

To change the bulb turn the lamp off at the power supply and carefully remove the entire globe from the assembly, remove and replace the bulb and then reassemble as above.
